Staff Research Associate III Division of Hematology/Oncology Full Time 82822BR Job Summary The Gaensler Lab at UCSF is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate III (SRAIII) to contribute to our translational and pre-clinical studies focused on a novel leukemia vaccine. The lab's mission is to enhance anti-leukemic immunological responses in older patients with acute myelogenous leukemia, with the ultimate goal of improving relapse-free survival rates. The successful candidate will assess immunological responses to engineered human leukemia vaccines, collaborate on mechanistic studies of the tumor microenvironment, and participate in IND enabling studies.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $30.89 - $49.68 (Hourly Rate). Currently, the Division has 82 Full-time faculty, 11 part-time and/or volunteer faculty, 29 ACGME and non-ACGME fellows, 22 post-doctoral fellows, 32 Non-faculty appointments and 48 administrative and research staff. The Division's primary research, clinical and teaching functions are primarily split between the Parnassus and Mission Bay campuses, although the faculty, fellows, and staff have appointments and clinical, research, and educational activities at ZSFG, and VAMC as well.
