Facilities Management (FM) supports the University of Virginia's wide range of research, academic and patient care programs. With over 1,200 employees dedicated to excellence, Facilities Management is responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair and maintenance of UVA's buildings, infrastructure, and grounds as well as other University-owned and leased properties. As the Plumbing Supervisor you will be in a working supervisory role, leading your team in day-to-day maintenance activities, while assuring the quality of your team's work. You will manage and schedule preventive and reactive maintenance, as well as develop processes for efficiently coordinating short- and long-term workloads. You will work with crews to solve advanced technical problems relating to their discipline. In addition to ensuring safe work practices and code compliance, you will be responsible for performance management of supervised staff. You will be expected to provide positive leadership in a manner that reinforces the University's commitment to a respectful and inclusive workplace. Responsibilities:
