The Billing Manager provides leadership and oversight of the Firm's billing function for their respective line of business focus area(s). The position is responsible for ensuring the most effective and efficient policies, procedures, and systems are in place to facilitate timely and accurate billing and invoice processing and ensuring the firm meets billing goals. This position assists their billing team members in resolving complex billing issues and trains billing team and external client servers on the billing system, process, procedures, and Firm billing best practices. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and leadership skills, along with a keen eye for detail to drive operational excellence.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance operations, accounting or equivalent experience - Required

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - Required
  • Ability to learn, implement and train others - Required
  • Ability to work in a large, complex, dynamic organization where a high degree of ambiguity and change exists - Required
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including senior leadership - Required
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills - Required
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills - Required
  • Workday PSA experience - Heavily Preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years relevant experience - Required
  • Professional service industry experience - Required
  • Previous project or team management experience - Required

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with partners and other key firm stakeholders, to lead through influence rather than control, and to create consensus-based support for business strategies and decisions - Required

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $79,600 - $135,900

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
