Senior Compliance Specialist

The Senior Compliance Specialist is responsible for (i) the development and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to compliance and risk assessment, (ii) training development, (iii) executing Bio-Rad's Spend Transparency program, (iii) conducting risk assessments, and (iv) conducting compliance investigations.

THIS POSITION CAN BE FULLY REMOTE, but local candidates will be required to follow a hybrid model.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Researches current laws, rules, and other regulatory requirements to write, implement, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Gathers master data information on healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations' expenditures for analytics and transparency reporting. Performs data validation and reconciliation activities to validate accuracy and completeness of aggregate spend reporting information.
  • Assists with compliance risk assessment and monitoring activities, including identifying and tracking key metrics, compiling trend analysis reports, and remaining current on key compliance and ethics developments.
  • Conducts investigations of allegations pertaining to violations of law and Bio-Rad policies.
  • Supports the ongoing development, refinement, implementation, and effectiveness of Bio-Rad's Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Understands and assists with training and implementation of Bio-Rad's Compliance Program and policies.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent required. Juris Doctor (JD) or other advanced degree is desired but not required.
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of project management and business analysis experience. 5+ years working directly with corporate compliance, legal, or risk management.
  • Experience writing clear, accurate, and concise documentation.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life sciences, or clinical diagnostics a strong plus.
  • Experience with the requirements for effective compliance programs a plus.
  • Excellent written communication and grammatical skills with the ability to write in a variety of styles and tones.
  • Familiarity with anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $93,000 to $140,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
