Clinical Manager | Cardiology

Schedule Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System is seeking afull-time Clinical Manager for the Cardiology Clinic in La Crosse, WI.

What you will do:

• Fulfill a 1.0 FTE; salaried position
• Provide management and oversee the delivery of clinical services throughout the Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic departments
• Manage and lead ~40 in-person, hybrid, and remote staff including RNs, MAs, Perfusionists, Cardiac Device Specialists, Schedulers and an Office Assistant to ensure optimal functioning in day-to-day operations
• Work with ~25 providers, comprised of clinicians, interventionalists, surgeons, inpatient and outpatient APCs
• Play an important role in project work, leading change management
• Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Director and Medical Directors to achieve department strategic goals
• Interface with many different areas within the organization including procedural, ambulatory, and inpatient areas as well as research
• This position is based out of La Crosse with some travel to the Onalaska Clinic

What you need:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health related field;nursing is preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of clinical experience, leadership experience desired
• Ideal candidate will have:
  • Prior experience with project work and change management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Ability to build trust within a team
  • Experience in the field of Cardiology
  • Have the desire to recruit, hire, maintain, and motivate employees with the goal of retention
