Principal Data Analyst Office hybrid in San Francisco, CA The Availability Cloud at Salesforce is accountable for ensuring all products deliver critically important availability so that our customers can exceed the expectations of their customers. The Availability Data & Analytics team provides service owners the data, insights, analytics and AI-based frameworks to easily manage their products with high availability. We enable teams throughout Salesforce to deeply understand and optimize their respective areas through extraordinary analytics and easily consumable data. You consistently break through obstacles, work horizontally and turn "hard, sophisticated" problems into bite-sized, easily tractable solutions. You are a product leader, defining the technical strategy, digging into the math behind a dashboard because the data matters. Communication is a strength, both written and live. Your executive presence is comfortable and eloquent because you regularly work with these customers. You roll up your sleeves, build dashboards and debug analysis regularly. You will produce insights (e.g. performance drivers, retention analysis, behavioral personas) to help grow Salesforce Cloud businesses. This requires acquiring, cleaning, structuring data from multiple sources (e.g. Hadoop, Splunk), and analyzing the data using Tableau and will include SQL / Python / R. Evangelize the insights through storytelling. Create easy-to-consume media that inspires into action anyone from senior execs to fellow analysts. Contribute to expanding the Salesforce data culture by growing new relationships, hosting learning sessions, integrating or designing new tools, improving team processes, and other lateral activities.
