Overview of the Position:

Perform necessary warehouse physical inventory counts, work in progress routing changes, pre-exchange screening, exchange processing, warehouse stocking of finished components to bin locations, final inspection and certification of finished components to meet or exceed company TIL and customer OTD goals, liaison with Customer Service to obtain replacement components for red tagged material. Assist with Assembly Value Stream WH 0005 inventories, details replenishment and component processing as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Become an FAA Certified Repairman, as needed.
  • Learn to accurately use micro measuring tools like micrometers, c-micrometers and bore gauges
  • Perform necessary inspection procedures to insure that outgoing parts meet all required specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and close out parts for shipping (oil the parts, wrap in plastic, etc.).
  • Prepare required paperwork for parts shipment and exchange orders.
  • Properly uses and maintains company equipment such as computers, scan guns, and electronic scales.
  • Responsible for proper storage of parts, inventory control, stock-pulls for contracts, stock pulls, bagging and labeling for orders.
  • Audits, verifies, and corrects inventory records.
  • Performs physical audits of inventory on a regular basis.
  • Prepare financial statement of inventory holding and submit report to Senior Program Manager
  • Process advance exchange requests on an expedited daily basis to meet or exceed ACI TIL and customer OTD goals
  • Process rotable routing change requests, red tag rotables, and process exchange orders on a daily basis to meet ACI TIL goals
  • Complete end of month physical rotable inventory counts of warehouses 0010, 0011 and 0012
  • Stock rotable inventory from Final Inspection to warehouse shelving
  • Utilize Intranet and Excel to screen for exchange opportunities and escalate those opportunities to Customer Service



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must be capable of reading blueprints.
  • Must speak, read and write the English language.
  • Obtain Pre-Inspection qualification within 3 months
  • Obtain Inspection qualification within 3 months
  • Obtain Return to Service certificate within 6 months
  • Learn basic Excel program use within 6 months
  • J-STD-001 CIS certification

Education / Experience Requirements:



  • Must have H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Must have 3 months to 2 years ACI experience or related outside experience.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
