Lab Products - 2nd Shift Bonder($18-$20/hourly + .50 shift differential) Position Summary The Machine Operator primary role is to operate various production equipment in Lab Products manufacturing department. Machines to be operated may include: Bonding, Friction, Automated Packaging, and Lim. May be required to perform other duties, such as inventory cycle counts and/or work with other production equipment. Demonstrates full competency in the operation and maintenance of the calendar and mill equipment as documented on training records. Duties and Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect completed parts Test operation of machines periodically Takes Initiative and offers suggestions to improve the operation Fully competent on specific assigned tasks and/or equipment within 2 months Performs work in a timely manner with attention to quality Must be able to achieve production quotas set for the machine assigned to Follows and takes direction Demonstrates safe and orderly work practices Maintains a total awareness of quality practices and procedures Responsive to all production requests Must be able to work overtime and weekends (mandatory overtime may be required) Qualifications and Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Must be able to perform each assigned task at full competency, as recorded on his/her training record.
