Aon is seeking an AVP, Business Planning to support the NA Health Solutions Leader. This role will function as a Chief of Staff and will support driving the growth agenda and executing the firm's 3x3 plan.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing strategic plans, supporting change management, assisting in facilitation of prioritization of key initiatives, and accelerating initiative completion.

This role will work closely with the NA Health Solutions Leader and work alongside other Health leaders and Health leadership teams. This role will manage strategic projects and will keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward simultaneously.

What the day will look like

The AVP, Business Planning will be responsible for leading an evolving scope of tasks based on the following core responsibilities:

  • Accountable for supporting the NA Health Leader's priorities, strategically aligning their time with these priorities, and revisiting them regularly to assess progress.
  • Facilitate development and measurements of goals and objectives across a variety of initiatives.
  • Drive development, execution, continuous improvement, and adoption of standards, methods, tools, and best practices.
  • Liaise and partner with the Health Functional Leadership team, specifically the Head of Strategy, on a regular basis.
  • Drive Solution Line projects and programs.
  • Support Leadership Team meetings, including setting the agenda and driving performance of key action items.
  • Continuously building knowledge around a variety of company initiatives - including knowledge of and close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and markets and a deep understanding of Aon and its capabilities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time management
  • Consulting skills: Identify organization needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognizes challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and working in cross functional teams
  • At least 5 years of Health consulting, Project Management, or similar experience.

Education/Licensing:

  • Holds all regulatory licenses, permissions and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation.
  • Bachelor's degree

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $81,000 to $130,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
