All about the role:

Electrolux North America is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to drive transformation in our finishing process area. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape critical manufacturing improvements that elevate safety, efficiency, quality, and cost performance. You will play a pivotal role in co-championing the finishing process, ensuring seamless support for the industrialization of new products while driving innovation and excellence.

Your expertise will deliver measurable results, from ensuring on-time and on-budget project completion to developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes that achieve ambitious safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals. What you'll do:

  • Prepare technical specifications for equipment according to Global Manufacturing Engineering Guidelines.

  • Develop control processes and procedures to maintain consistent process results in the Finishing area.

  • Supervise new equipment installation and startup.

  • Team-member (Manufacturing Engineering) in the New Product Projects

  • Perform the manufacturability analysis of new Products Projects.

  • Participate in PFMEA, Design for Automation and Design for Manufacture activities.

  • Support production feasibility analysis in virtual environments and ensure implementation of digital manufacturing solutions.

  • Research and facilitate innovative solutions for smart and optimal manufacturing processes.

  • Perform vendor searches and equipment evaluation to ensure adequate capability to produce quality products in required quantities at an effective cost.

  • Generate capital investment request (IR's) required for new process implementation and controls expenditures to ensure compliance with timing and budget requirements.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)

  • 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in Problem Solving, Process Controland Continuous Improvement.

Where you'll be:

This position is a full-time position based at our new Food Preparation Manufacturing Plant in Springfield, Tennessee.
