The Sourcing Contract Specialist will provide the CDPHP team with Strategic Sourcing support by performing all aspects of procurement. They will establish a working knowledge of the company, including business initiatives, spending, trends, and risk awareness. The Contract Specialist will serve as a trusted advisor, working with stakeholders to manage expenses, develop strategic negotiation plans, comply with regulatory entities, and mitigate risk for all projects. They will manage the lifecycle for low, medium and high risk contracts, educating business owners regarding best practices and ensuring compliance with the Sourcing Process. The Contract Specialist will also support the Sourcing Manager and Sourcing Director in establishing, reviewing, and implementing sourcing guidelines and policies.

This is a full-time, temporary position - mostly remote opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in contract negotiation and vendor/contract administration preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of equivalent experience required.
  • Experience leading sourcing projects required.
  • Experience with risk mitigation and relationship management required.
  • Experience in developing reporting tools, such as sourcing dashboards and corresponding reports required.
  • Experience working with business expense controls preferred.
  • Experience with database management and ERP systems preferred; Software as a Services (SaaS) preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and suggest/drive toward resolutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners at varying levels to positively affect outcomes at the team, department, and organization level.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and shift priorities to meet day-to-day operational needs.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking/presentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
