Salary Grade: T23 Learn more about the "T" salary structure here: https://careers.temple.edu/sites/careers/files/documents/T_Salary_Structure.pdf Job Summary: The Administrative Specialist in the College of Science & Technology Dean's office provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations in the Dean's office and department research groups in the college. Under general supervision, completes administrative tasks, such as management of faculty calendars and contacts, screens incoming calls/correspondence and responds independently when possible. Prepares records, agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for meetings; composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents (i.e., grant proposal forms, RA appointment forms, Visa applications, etc.). Arranges detailed travel plans and itineraries. Compiles documents for travel-related meetings. Prepares and reviews forms and specialized reports. Purchases supplies and equipment. Keeps detailed records of all budget transactions. Processes all reimbursements for faculty and staff. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: At least two years of administrative experience in an academic environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
