Proposal Manager

About the role:

The Proposal Manager works under the direction of the Director of Capture to pursue contract opportunities, oversee bid strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal production. The successful candidate manages the transition from the business opportunity to proposal development to award.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with DLT Sales, vendors, and partners to manage strategic opportunities and position DLT for new contract wins.
• Work with stakeholders to establish legal, pricing, technical, and resource requirements.
• Write clear, compliant, and competitive proposals with strong win themes and key differentiators.
• Manage proposal events like strategy sessions, pricing meetings, and review teams.
• Keep stakeholders informed about key activities and opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in proposal management
• Shipley certification or other proposal management/process certifications.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other government contracting practices.
• Understanding of IDIQ, GWAC and BAP contracts, with experience supporting proposal responses for these vehicles.
• Proficiency in proposal management tools, e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
• The ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Reseller/Distributor business models
• Familiarity with AI tools in support of capture/proposal process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment
• Proven track record of success
• Detail oriented with the ability to balance short- and long-range goals

Working Conditions:

• Fully remote with occasional in person meetings (Industry Day, customer meetings, etc.)
• Frequent on camera Meetings (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
• Professional environment
• Normal business hours. Occasional work outside of business hours is required depending on proposal deadlines
