Learn more about the UC Office of the President Department Overview 40% Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan for EDI and anti-racism engagement at UCOP while leveraging existing organizational resources, trainings and engagement experiences on EDI and anti-racism. In close collaboration with UCOP Learning & Development, design, facilitate and evaluate anti-racism and EDI trainings for staff in alignment with the Unified UCOP EDI framework and goals, Anti-Racism Task Force recommendations and Presidential priorities. Partner with key stakeholders such as employee resource groups, the UCOP EDI Council and UCOP Divisional EDI Workgroups to determine EDI and anti-racism engagement needs to develop appropriate solutions. Serve as the lead in developing EDI and anti-racism related dialogues, Town Halls, community conversations etc. that may arise based on employee needs and concerns. Collaborate with UCOP Operations, Local HR, EDI Divisional Workgroups and members of the EDI Department in advancing action plans based on key findings from staff engagement surveys. Create participant guides and handouts ensuring that all materials are consistent with learning principles. Conduct ongoing monitoring of EDI and anti-racism engagement experiences to determine impact, achievement of outcomes, determine recommendations for improvement and modify content and approach based on findings, as needed. Responsible for sourcing and working with outside vendors, if and as needed, to design and deliver specific learning and engagement opportunities. 30% Support the design and delivery of an annual EDI Conference to expand EDI capability and capacity across UCOP. Support the delivery of an annual Employee Resource Group (ERG) Summit to enhance ERG leadership competencies and engage senior leaders in their support of the work and priorities of ERGs. 20% Lead the design, development and facilitation of in-person and virtual learning & engagement experiences to enhance leadership competencies of ERG leaders, EDI Divisional Workgroup leads and EDI Council members including 1-1 coaching sessions, orientation modules for new ERG leaders etc. Develop pathways for ERG Executive Sponsors for continuous collective learning and exchange of ideas on ways to best support UCOP ERGs. 10% Review current literature and best practices, keep abreast of regulations and benchmark other organizations and industries to identify applicable best practices and develop evidence-based engagement efforts in EDI and anti-racism. Develop, curate and sustain employee facing resources in EDI and anti-racism efforts including but not limited to the UCOP EDI website. Experience
