Assistant Teaching Professor in Clinical Psychology The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position in Clinical Psychology starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will have a 4:4 load and may teach courses such as Graduate Clinical Supervision courses (e.g., Practicum/Internship), Child/Family Therapy, Theories of Psychotherapy, and Multicultural Counseling. This is a 9-month, non-tenure-track position with primary responsibilities for undergraduate and graduate classroom and online instruction, undergraduate advising, and university service. Faculty will teach a 4:4 load. The initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal and continuous appointment. UMass Dartmouth is in the beautiful ocean-side community of Dartmouth, about an hour south of Boston, half an hour east of Providence, and half an hour west of Cape Cod. It offers a world-class education to undergraduate and graduate students each year in over 40 undergraduate and 23 graduate programs offered by the College of Engineering, College of Nursing, Charlton College of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Visual and Performing Arts, School of Law and School for Marine Science and Technology. Duties: It is expected the successful candidate will be an engaging and effective teacher with a strong commitment to student learning and success. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate level clinical psychology courses; implementing inclusive and evidence-based teaching and learning approaches to ensure the academic success of a diverse population of students; collaborating with faculty to enhance curriculum; providing academic advising; and participating in university service activities.
