Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Melbourne, FL, Interested?

Here's what you'll do:

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end close activity
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Daily and weekly revenue and other key metrics reporting
  • Back-up for time-keeping maintenance and reporting
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable when required, including vouching vendor invoices and processing weekly check runs when needed
  • Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations
  • Prepare and enter journal entries
  • Ensure all subledgers balance to the general ledger
  • Monitor and track non-recurring customer expenditures to ensure expenditures are in alignment with quote
  • Provide analysis and support for weekly customer specific revenue and cost of goods reporting
  • Fixed Asset tracking
  • Conduct price audits
  • Assists in annual physical inventory
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of company general ledger
  • Track and post prepaid expenses
  • Assist in control of expenditures
  • Adhere to all corporate financial policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Monitor established internal controls to ensure proper compliance
  • Assist with daily activities in the finance department
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in general accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience computer / applications in (i.e. Email, Excel, MS Word etc.) and ERP systems
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis and the general ledger
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational, technology and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high tech manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of payroll functions (ADP experience a plus)
  • Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers
