JOB OVERVIEW: Represent HSI and its subsidiaries in a broad array of Labor and Employment legal matters. Provide high-quality, practical and business-oriented legal advice and counsel to the Company's respective HR Business Partners and business units. Identify, analyze and assist in developing legal solutions for many diverse and complex labor or employment law issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SCOPE AND INTERACTIONS: Accountable for communication, performance and results. Make recommendations for the objectives, policies and plans of the sub-function(s). Fully accountable for meeting the strategic, and operating objectives of the sub-function(s). Operate with latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. Often plays a role in high-level projects that have an impact on the company's future direction. COMPLEXITY: Work on complex, numerous and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company and an evaluation of intangibles. Knowledge of all areas within sub-function(s) derived from experience in non-management and middle-management roles allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas within the function. SUPERVISION: Determine methods and procedures on complex assignments and work collaboratively with business unit clients (but primarily independently from other attorneys). Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously and propose solutions. Work reviewed mostly through consultation and agreement with others rather than formal review from a supervising attorney. Employee is expected to exercise appropriate judgment to determine when to involve others in the Legal Department for consultation or review. INTERACTIONS: Regularly interact with executives and other TSMs across the organization. Ability to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance. Build personal networks to achieve mutually beneficial solutions. Ability to negotiate with opposing counsel. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of law firm and/or in-house experience post Bar admission. PREFERRED EDUCATION: This position requires a Juris Doctor degree and the candidate must be a member in good standing in the New York State Bar. GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. The posted range for this position is $109,807 to $171,574 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
